Balfour Park Master Plan update meeting Sept. 18

Managing Editor

The public is invited to attend a meeting coordinated by the city of Spokane Valley Parks and Recreation Department seeking input on the current Balfour Park Master Plan on Wednesday, Sept. 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in room 109 at the CenterPlace Regional Event Center.

The meeting will be an opportunity for the public to review the current plan and provide feedback.

At the meeting, the public will also be able to review comments and suggestions gathered from fellow residents this summer at multiple events. This will be the final opportunity for the public to provide input during the process.

The original Balfour Park Master Plan was developed in 2013 after an extensive public process.

It is time for the city to evaluate the current plan and hear from Spokane Valley residents if any changes should be considered.
The city is contracting with Bernardo Wills Architects, a Spokane-based firm to conduct the meeting.
