Spokane Valley Christmas holiday hours set

In observance of the Christmas holiday, city of Spokane Valley offices will be closed as follows:

City Hall business offices will be closed on Christmas Eve, Monday, Dec. 24, and Christmas, Tuesday, Dec. 25. Offices will reopen with regular hours on Wednesday, Dec. 26.

There will be no City Council meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 25, or Tuesday, Jan. 1. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be Jan. 8 at 6 p.m. in the council chambers.

City snow plowing/deicing crews will monitor conditions 24/7 throughout the holiday to respond as needed.

CenterPlace Regional Event Center and Spokane Valley Senior Center will be closed Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, and Christmas, Dec. 25. They will reopen with regular hours on Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Spokane Valley Parks and Recreation Cool Camp will occur as scheduled.

The Spokane Valley University Road Transfer Station will be closed on Christmas, Tuesday, Dec. 25, reopening with regular hours on Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Waste Management’s curbside collection services will be suspended on Christmas Day, Tuesday, Dec. 25, with collection delayed by one day for the remainder of the week. For example, Friday’s pickup service will occur on Saturday.

The Spokane Valley City Council and staff members wish you a safe and happy holiday and look forward to serving you when offices reopen.
