Sprague preservation, Appleway Trail projects topic at meeting

Learn more about, and share input on, the Sprague-Sullivan to Corbin street preservation project and the Appleway Trail-Sullivan to Corbin project at a community meeting scheduled for 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, in the commons area of Greenacres Middle School, 17409 E. Sprague Ave.

Sprague-Sullivan to Corbin Project Manager Erica Amsden will be on hand to share information about the improvements to be made during the project, including roadway resurfacing, sidewalk ramp upgrades and other improvements. 

Information will also be provided on anticipated traffic impacts during construction, which is tentatively scheduled for late June through late August. 

Ample opportunity will also be provided for participants to ask questions and share input on the project.

Also to be discussed at the meeting is construction of the next section of the Appleway Trail between Sullivan and Corbin, scheduled to occur from March through June.

Project Manager Rob Lochmiller will be on hand to share information about the project, including temporary closures of side streets during construction of Trail crossings.

All who are interested are welcome to attend the meeting.
