Input sought on improvements to Old Mission Trailhead

Those with ideas for improvements that would enhance the Old Mission Avenue Trailhead of the Centennial Trail are asked to give their input at a special meeting next Monday.
The community meeting will be held Monday, Jan. 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the clubhouse at the River House Apartments, 16621 E. Indiana Ave.
City staff members and consultants will be on hand to hear your ideas for improvements – such as picnic tables or benches, a fountain, or other features that would make it more usable and attractive -- to be constructed in spring/summer of 2015.
The improvements will complement the paving, parking lot and landscaping that was installed during development of the River House Apartments and as part of the Indiana Avenue extension between Sullivan and Flora.
Information gathered at the meeting will be used to help develop a plan for installation of the selected enhancements. The final plan will be made available to community members for review at a future meeting to be announced.
The Old Mission Avenue Trailhead is located at the west end of Mission Avenue west of Flora.
