Does your organization present and/or promote events and projects that attract visitors to Spokane Valley? If so, you may wish to apply for funding from the city of Spokane Valley's 2015 Lodging Tax revenues.
Generated by a tax imposed on overnight stays in lodging within the city, Lodging Tax revenues are dedicated specifically to funding efforts that bring visitors to Spokane Valley and have a positive impact on our community's economy.
Complete information required to submit a proposal for funding is included in the "Lodging Tax Grant Application," which can be found on the city's Web site at spokanevalley.org by selecting the link under City News on the home page. Copies are also available at City Hall at the address below.
An informational meeting to provide potential applicants with information and address questions regarding the application process will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014 at 4:00pm in Council Chambers at City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave., Suite 101.
To be considered for funding, organizations must submit sixteen (16) copies of the proposal, including any supporting documentation, no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2014 to:
