The Spokane County Elections Office closed a special filing period for several elected positions that had no candidates file during the regular filing period.
The candidates that filed are listed below:

Town of Spangle
Council Position No. 1
Ron Cockle
Rebecca L. Johnson

Irvin Water District
Commissioner Position No. 1
Ron Lund
Commissioner Position No. 2
David Bennett

Milan Cemetery District
Commissioner Position No. 1
Dennis W. Anstadt Jr.

Moran Cemetery District
Commissioner Position No. 2
Dick Bastian
Commissioner Position No. 3
David P. Brown
Clay R. Leland

Spangle Cemetery District
Commissioner Position No. 1
Richard J. Cornmesser

Waverly Cemetery District
Commissioner Position No. 2
Evie Heinevetter

These positions will appear on the general election ballot. The candidate that receives the most votes will be elected to fill the unexpired term.
