Spokane Valley pools open Saturday

Managing Editor

It may not feel like it, but summertime is here.
No really. The Park Road Pool, Valley Mission Pool and Terrace View Pool will all open on Saturday, June 16.

Each of Spokane Valley's pools has a unique and fun water feature, such as the zero-depth entry pool at Valley Mission or take the plunge on Park Road's Park Pool plunge water slide or head over to Terrace View's lazy river.

New open swim times are scheduled from 1 to 4:30 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Make sure to check the evening schedule at each individual pool as schedules may vary due to swim lessons and swim meets. Registration for the first session of swim lessons, June 25-July 6, begins Friday, June 15, at 5 p.m. at each of the pools.

Open swim fees are only $1 per person, and children 5 and under get in free. For $20 you can purchase an open swim pass, good for 25 visits at any Spokane Valley pool. On Saturday or Sunday, the weekend family discount lets one child 12 years old or younger swim for free with a paying adult.

City of Spokane Valley Pools are located at:
·Park Road Pool, 906 N. Park Road, 926-1840.
·Terrace View Pool, 13525 E. 24th Ave., 924-4707.
