Secret Witness Seeks Sex Offender

Secret Witness is offering a cash reward for information that results in the capture of a convicted sex offender who has absconded from supervision.

Fugitive David Wayne Rice now has an outstanding warrant charging him with first degree child rape.

He is an 18-year-old white male who is 5-feet, 11-inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes, and last gave a home address of 327 ½ Second, C-11.

Persons with information regarding his whereabouts should call the Secret Witness Tip Line at 327-5111. Callers do not have to give their name to collect the cash reward, but should leave a code name or number with the operator.

Secret Witness is a civilian organization that pays cash rewards for information that solves area crimes.

A complete list of area sex offenders is included on the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs Web sit at www.waspc.org. If you suspect abuse or neglect of a child, contact Childrens Protective Services at 363-3333.

Counseling and other help for victims of abuse or neglect is available through the Victims Rights Response Team. The organization has a toll-free, 24-hour crisis line that can be reached at 624-7273.
